Waiting for Harvest - Or, Plans and Possibilities

With veraison spotted in the pinot noir last weekend, harvest preparations are underway here at JB-HQ. As we head into our fifth (!) harvest, the overall vineyard conditions – fruit set, crop levels, vine health – are the best we've ever seen. We are thrilled and thankful to be working with these truly special sites. A few images from our recent vineyard walks:

Happy and ...prolific little Green Goblin, this year

Excitement abounds in these last weeks before the crush. A new winery, new equipment, and the opportunity to make more wine than ever before; the feeling of possibility is a marvelous one. We've been busy hand-bottling all the 2012 reds, and are happy to report that one of them will be released before summer's end... sign up for the mailing list if you're interested in hearing more!
